Photos in this gallery are part of a report I had the pleasure of doing a few years ago about the famous Venetian carnival. During the ten days that the carnival lasted, I walked around St. Mark's Square and its surroundings every day, again and again, looking for good photographic subjects and trying to capture the festive atmosphere that reigned in the streets. In addition to the typical traditional costumes and masks, I enjoyed photographing the alternative costumes, very original and full of good humor.
