Yasuni National Park, located in the Amazon region of Ecuador, possesses an astonishing and fragile biodiversity that we must preserve. For just over a week, I ventured on foot along its humid trails, both day and night, in search of amphibians, reptiles, insects, and arachnids; I climbed observation towers to spot primates and birds in the forest canopy; and I navigated labyrinthine rivers by canoe to discover many of the incredible animal species that call this place home. Quite an adventure.
